General description / History
Original Venetian water taxi – built in 1981 – 125 HP
On offer is an original Venetian water taxi after extensive refit work (2021). The ship was bought from a Venetian shipyard and brought to northern Germany on a low-loader. The hull was completely sandblasted by a specialist company, then stripped, covered with biaxial glass fabric and painted. All deck coverings were replaced by a specialist company. The new staff deck was handcrafted from sapele mahogany and maple veins. 10 layers of varnish were then applied by hand within 12 months.
The engine was completely overhauled by Sauer und Sohn (IVECO AIFO specialist company) and delivered again with 20 operating hours. Engine: IVECO AIFO 8061 M 14 marine diesel, built in 1989, completely overhauled in 2021 and delivered with 20 operating hours, currently 35 operating hours, 125 HP, 6 L displacement, 6 cylinder in-line naturally aspirated diesel without turbocharger or lots of electronics.
The Z drive has been replaced by a brand new Volvo Penta 290 DP. In the rear, a stainless steel bracket has been laminated between the transom plate and the engine foundation to better transfer the forces to the fuselage. Drive: Volvo Penta DP 290, built in 2020. All Bowden cables and hydraulic lines are new – Super Low Friction Volvo Penta
Also sold is a Wick brand boat trailer, first registered in 2020, double-axle.
Two electric bilge pumps with bilge alarms were installed. A subsequent CE certification was created according to the PCA module. The ship was built according to design cat. C certified for 8 people. A Lake Constance approval has been prepared and a positive preliminary decision from the Lake Constance District is available.
